Tissue machines

Our tissue machines benefit from the latest technology in tissue making. Running speeds of over 2000m/min can be reached. Our standard machine speeds are 800m/min, 1200m/min and 2000m/min. The process is classical and is composed of the following steps : forming by a crescent former, pressing, Yankee drying and creping.
Web formation is made by a crescent former. Web is contained between two fabrics where water is expulsed by means of centrifugal force.
Next, pressing is made by one or two press rolls depending on the desired paper characteristics , the standard being one press for a good caliper and smoothness.
Then the sheet goes round a Yankee cylinder with hood where it is dried.
If high bulk and softness is required, a TAD (through air dryer) can be installed upstream of the Yankee cylinder. At the end of the Yankee drying, creping takes place through creping blades.
A calender may be installed to give a gentle and smooth sheet surface.
The sheet then goes to the reel to be wound up. Depending on the final characteristics required, a centerwind reel may be installed to maintain bulk and Softness whilst winding with very low nip loads.
