Top quality non-woven products need high tech. forming tables. ABK has been involved in the evolution of forming tables from the very beginning of non-woven modern technology.
In fact at the very beginning ABK manufactured spinning beams together with the forming tables. Later to be in harmony with their other activities the focus was made on forming tables.
ABK has high technology solutions for PET and PP manufacture, with excellent cross machine profiles for spun bond grades. The web is held in place in all phases of its movement from the spinning beam lay down, its passage through the table combining / sealing presses to the entry in to the high temperature embossing*calendar. The tables are very efficient due to a long development over the years in terms of design and materials to eliminate sheet stealing and static electricity on the tables. ABK is specialized also in winding. Final Products being destined for the hygienic, medical, technical and industrial markets.
ABK has also the technology for inclined table formers for the manufacture of special products such as non-woven abrasive pads, filter paper and other grades.
PILOT TABLES
Many pilot tables have been manufactured by ABK which permit customers to develop new products before going into production. These units all have the same hi-tech. capabilities as the industrial versions.
PRODUCTION FORMING TABLES
These can be standard or made to measure. They range from static tables to cantilevered tables of wire widths up to 6000 mm for seamless wires. Variable height geometry tables also exist which permit a change in the image of the spunbond lay dow.

Dryers used for the production of various non-woven products such as Fiberglas mesh, Hygiene & surgical pads, Clothes & Shoe industries, Automotive, etc... These devices can be heated either by Gas, Fuel, Electricity orThermal Oil. The related program of fabrication covers grades from 12 up to 500 g/m² and even more, widths up to 5 meters and machine Speed up to 1200 m/min. Our concept gives to the manufacturers the guarantee of a perfect Drying uniformity in Cross Direction whatever the trimmed width, and a source of flexibility and productivity at the lowest manufacturing cost. |
