POCKET VENTILATION - WEB RUN STABILIZERS

Main functions:

  • Drain humidity and de-saturate the Pocket to enhance drying section capability
  • Improve moisture profile in CD
  • Prevent paper web from condensation drops
  • Guide the web between dryers and prevent paper from wrinkles
  • Increase paper resistance by managing shrinkage
  • Improve runability and machine efficiency
  • Reuse maximal heat from exhausts & steam system
  • Limit non-controlled and hazardous cold air introduction into the pocket
